Hello all, when you arrive at our page listed as History TDB under our navigation menu. Under that page, you will see images that the Juicer app posts on that page. The images are based on our image selection on our Pinterest page. When we like a particular item, we click on it and save it as an image that fits our style or promotes our brand, and we approve the look and style.
The images that we click on are based on style likes, meaning that we would wear the style ourselves or we recommend it as a good look. The problem is that the images may be tied to sites that actually sell the items or the style of item through their website. So, as a reminder to our readers, we do not endorse product sellers on Pinterest, only the manufacturers listed on the following pages found on our site.
While our shopping places are expanding, and we may not list every reputable place, for instance, like Men’s Wearhouse, which probably has a good selection, but we do not shop there, so we do not promote the site on Pinterest or on our platform. We do prefer you to go to the actual store site or do a search and find the actual place you wish to purchase from. We check our links so that they are not misdirected to a phishing site or a site selling fake or subpar products.
We have clicked on the some of the images and they have led to websites like Store Envy, Viossi, Acquire, and others. We are not knocking any of these places, but we have inquired of readers who have purchased items from these places based on our likes, and many of them have found the products to be cheaply made or packaged cheaply. One reader said his shoes from Viossi were of inferior quality and came to him in a plastic bag (not even a box).
So again, only purchased from companies known to produce quality items that will stand the test of time. Our creed is still the same, If we do not wear it, we do not promote it. You can be reassured that every review on our website is based on items that we actually wear. We are not compensated for these reviews. We spend our own money and we really are just a group of married men (yes, all of us are married for many years to our beautiful wives), we have occupations and families.
We recognize that looking like real men is something we can all attain to. We are not subjected to trends, or outside influences that encourage men to feminize their looks, our main focus is classic men’s wear that can be worn for decades to come. Clothes that say to others, here is a man who is well put-together and cares about being a productive member of human society.
We also encourage you to view other sites that have similar reviews of high-end quality products for men like Permanent Style and Gentleman’s Gazette. Simon Crompton from Permanent Style provides plenty of links to men’s luxury goods for those with the means to acquire, and we also like Sven Raphael Schneider from Gentleman’s Gazette since they sell items from their collection that fit our taste and style (their Fort Belvedere collection is of high quality). I heard that Sven Raphael started due to his collection of fountain pens, we are similar in that respect. In my teenage years, I worked as a delivery boy for a fountain pen reseller in New York City, in the city where I was born and still love.
Thank you for your continued support! Our website has proudly been online since 1998 – 27 years and counting. While we may not have reached mainstream recognition, we’re deeply grateful for our loyal and passionate community. As a niche platform with a steadily growing audience, we remain committed to keeping you updated and sharing high-quality links to help elevate your clothing choices.
Before you head out, here are a few powerful facts:
One Atlanta-based tailor generated over $34,000 in made-to-measure sales directly from our live events (yes, we host exclusive gatherings—invite only). A custom shoemaker recently sold more than $3,200 worth of footwear thanks to our reviews, and a shirtmaker has earned thousands from the exposure we provided. Our readers aren’t just browsing—they’re professionals who still wear suits, shirts, and ties every day.
Sincerely, Erik
