Just wanted to list a few places in NYC to shop for some men’s wear, there are lots of them, but I will list the places that I would normally go to, and I will list them by category:
The Whole Nine Yards – Suiting plus all you need
Paul Stuart – About everything you need, like, and can afford in Men’s wear – pricey but worth every penny.
PS 45 (Paul Stuart on a budget) – PS45, also known as Paul Stuart Outlet, is a men’s clothing store located in New York City. The store offers a range of products, including tailored clothing, sportswear, accessories, and footwear, often at discounted prices. Located down the block from the store itself.
Leffot – Located at 10 Christopher Street, NYC. Also, a wide range of items, mostly very high-end shoes and casual clothes. They even have a pre-owned shoe section where you can purchase used hard-to-get high-end shoes at discounted prices. Imagine a pair of Carmina for $300, even if they are used. Best for shoes.
The Armoury – Top-tier selections all around—each spot on this list is exceptional. That said, The Armoury stands out with two locations in New York and two in Hong Kong. Their offerings are outstanding: MTM, bespoke, RTW, shoes, and watches that are nothing short of remarkable. The collaborations? Rare, hard to track down, but next-level.
Brooks Brothers – Heritage shop, American style favorites like the Original Polo® Oxford Cloth Button Down, the navy blazer, the No. 1 Sack Suit—these time-tested pieces. Still popular and still make great clothes, more affordable, and you can still look great. They are a staple in men’s wear from A to Z. Flagship store on 195 Broadway, lower Manhattan.
Ralph Lauren – An American tradition. The Purple Label line is awesome and well worth it. Visit their store on 383 Bleecker Street.
JJ Hat Center – New York’s oldest hat shop. Still the best place to go for a sky piece.
Charles Tyrwhitt – A British menswear retailer known for its high-quality craftsmanship and Savile Row–inspired tailoring, nestled on Madison Avenue in the lower 40s.
Kiton NYC – Pricey but such quality, need to book an appointment, beautiful men’s and ladies wear. Well worth the investment. Located at 4 E.54th Street.
More places to list but I am tired and will come back, and add more stores.
Sincerely,
Erik
