Success is a word that carries different meanings for different people. For me, it is not defined by wealth, titles, or material possessions—it is the culmination of a journey, a way to overcome past disappointments and transform them into achievements. As someone with more years behind me than ahead, I see the completion of my projects as a momentous victory, the result of hard work, persistence, and resilience.
For younger generations, success may be measured by career advancement, prestigious degrees, or recognition among peers. While those goals are admirable, my definition of success is deeply personal. It is about finishing what I began years ago, despite the obstacles that delayed my path. Success, to me, is the quiet satisfaction of knowing that my work benefits others and leaves a meaningful impact.
Over time, I have developed strategies that keep me focused and disciplined. A systematic approach—built on note-taking, scheduling, and project management tools—helps me stay organized and ensures I never lose sight of the bigger picture. These methods have become the backbone of my creative process, allowing me to balance multiple projects while maintaining clarity and direction.
I remain active in web development, project management, and even the men’s wear community, where craftsmanship and creativity intersect. As a self-learner, I thrive on collaboration, engaging with other creators to sharpen my skills and broaden my perspective. Their insights, comments, and critiques often illuminate angles I hadn’t considered, reminding me that diversity of thought is one of the greatest assets in any endeavor.
Questions are my compass. By asking them—sometimes relentlessly—I uncover new approaches and refine my focus. Each perspective adds depth to my understanding, helping me craft solutions that are thoughtful and well-rounded.
Though the hours are long and the work demanding, I embrace the challenge. Whether I am developing applications or contributing to the men’s wear community, I strive to finish each project with integrity and excellence. Success, for me, lies not in accolades but in the fulfillment of completing what I set out to do.
Thank you for taking the time to read my musings. I hope that by sharing my journey, I can inspire others to define success on their own terms, to persevere through setbacks, and to find joy in the accomplishments that truly matter.

So I included a brief history of my ventures. I also had Toro Media Group, which continued as a separate site, mostly for business information and to handle private branding work. A full-blown company sprang from Toro Media Group, called Park City Desktop, a training facility started for new designers.

It’s been an incredible journey. While I may not have expanded the ventures as I originally intended, I gained invaluable experience in running a business and navigating relationships with clients and vendors. I learned the importance of conducting business with integrity, crafting a solid business plan, and effectively managing the bottom line.
I’ve truly enjoyed the excitement of working on new ventures and tackling the challenges they bring.
